Product performance
6262 aluminum rod is a low-alloyed Al-Mg-Si high plasticity alloy. It has many valuable features: 1. Heat treatment is strengthened, the impact toughness is high, and it is insensitive to lack. 2. Excellent thermoplasticity, can be extruded into complex structure at high speed. Thin wall. Hollow various profiles or forged into forgings with complex structures, quenching temperature range is wide, quenching sensitivity is low, extrusion and forging demoulding, as long as the temperature is higher than the quenching temperature. It can be quenched by spraying water or piercing water. Thin-walled parts (6<3mm) can also be air quenched. 3. Excellent welding performance and corrosion resistance, no stress corrosion cracking tendency, in the heat treatment of reinforcable aluminum alloys, Al-Mg-Si alloy is the only alloy that has not found stress corrosion cracking phenomenon. 4. The surface is very smooth after processing, and it is easy to anodize and color. The disadvantage is that if it is parked at room temperature for a period of time after quenching, it will adversely affect the strength (parking effect).
